What Constitutes Love

What constitutes love

The touch of your hand

A dinner for two

A walk at night

Your smile towards me

Kissing goodbye

What makes a man

A good job

Hard abs

Passionate and  determined

A face carved and sculpted

Reputed and well known

What makes a woman

A radiant face

Soft flowing hair

A body that rocks

Laughter and delight.

A wiggle when you walk

I think not

I think not

In the day of trouble I know not

Who can stand when the music stops

The illusion fades

And the fantasy is strained

Give me a man who will hold my hand

Not let me slip and fall

But stand through it all

But best of all, he’ll take the blame

Give me a woman

When I am wrong

Looks the other way

And says she’ll stay

And keeps the peace in quiet

Yes love is stronger than lust

Stronger than your hormones

Like super glue, it sticks

And the bond is not easily broken
